In 2024, MMEX partnered with Cosmo-NET to develop the Cosmo-NET Epic Newsletter – Creative Freedom Edition, a nationally distributed internal publication designed for store staff across South Africa.
Rather than producing a conventional corporate newsletter, the initiative was positioned as a high-engagement communication asset built around the theme of Creative Freedom. The strategic intent was to transform internal communications into a medium that employees would actively consume, emotionally connect with, and derive value from.
This approach acknowledged a critical reality of the modern workplace: internal audiences exist within the same attention economy as consumers, requiring content that competes with digital media, social platforms, and entertainment channels.
